DiscoverSea Museum is a collaborative creation of maritime historian and salvor Dale Clifton and local businessman Jack Childers, owner of Sea Shell City. Entering the exhibit is like stepping across a bridge into another world. The atmosphere is filled with sights and sounds of the sea and the music of centuries past. Glass-encased exhibits of
literally thousands of shipwreck discoveries are alternated with displays of natural wonders of the deep. Electronic information buttons dot the walls. Push a button and the exhibit is explained. Clifton also gives personal lectures and video presentations.
